Parent-Faculty Club

Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month, 6:00 PM in Room A-2

Mountain View has a strong base of parent volunteers that provide support throughout the school. The PFC (Parent-Faculty Club) is very active and has an important role in the life of our school. Volunteers organize and participate in the following activities: Annual Carnival, Mustang Day, Red Ribbon Week, Spring and Fall Fund-raisers, Teacher Workroom, Yearbook and Art Room, . Volunteers work in the classrooms on a daily basis. They participate in the governance of the school by serving on the School Site Council. Volunteers also serve on the Safety Committee, which helps coordinate the activities and drills related to the school's Crisis Plan. In recent years, PFC fund-raising has helped to purchase 34 new computers for the Computer Lab and the Office and raised $93,000 to install a state-of-the-art play structure that is enjoyed by our students as well as the community.
